Destined To Be Supernatural!

Destined To Be Supernatural!

John 15:5

"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

When God places a call on your life or a vision for your life, it is supernatural by virtue of the fact that a supernatural God has called you to it. Therefore, when a supernatural God calls you to a work, it will be a supernatural one. In other words, you will never be able to complete it in just your own strength, resources and abilities. You will need God to get it done. That's why we don't even need to start with the "Moses argument", "but God, I cannot do it". Duh! Of course you can't. God is not going to call you or give you a vision to do anything that you could do without Him!  What sense does that make?

We need to understand that when God calls us to a task it will always be bigger than we are. If it isn't, then God didn't call you to it! Don't you realize that if He called you to do something in which you wouldn't need His provision, His wisdom, or His power, that it would then be a work of the flesh? God does not work that way.

God is looking for people who have mountain-moving faith. Jesus is the true vine and believers are the branches; we are powerless to produce fruit if we do not abide in Him. My question for you today is: Do you qualify? If so, then let God speak big things to you! Let Him show you a big vision! Let Him call you to something that is big enough to stretch your faith, realizing that if you get this thing done, it will be "not by might, nor by power, but by [His] Spirit…" If the task is not bigger than you or what you can do, then you may need to double check and see if God is the one who called you to it.

By myself, I cannot do what He wants me to do.  However, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)
